We want every gift you send or receive from A Heartfelt Gift to bring joy, comfort, and connection. If something goes wrong, we’ll make it right — plain and simple.
✅ What’s Refundable (or Replaceable)
- Damaged, defective, or misprinted item on arrival.
- Our mistake (wrong design, text, variant, or item shipped).
- Lost in transit or undeliverable and cannot be located by the carrier, or delayed beyond 30 days (U.S.) after shipment.
Our promise: if it’s our error, we’ll fix or replace it right away.
🚫 What’s Not Refundable
Because most items are made-to-order — often personalized with names, messages, or special details — we can’t offer refunds or exchanges for reasons unrelated to quality, including:
- Change of mind after purchase.
- Wrong size, color, or personalization details provided at checkout.
- Misspellings or date errors submitted by the customer (please double-check personalization before submitting).
- Normal postal or carrier delays beyond our control.
However, we’ll always do our best to help you find a solution, even if a full refund isn’t eligible.
🔁 Exchanges by Category
We offer exchanges (subject to stock) within 30 days of delivery for eligible categories below. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Please include photos for damaged/defective claims.
- Jewelry (Necklaces/Bracelets): One-time exchange for chain length or variant if unused. Note: Personalized message cards are final sale; the jewelry component may be exchanged if unused.
- Rings: One-time size exchange permitted (engraved interiors are final sale unless defective). Ring must be unworn and resellable.
- Apparel: Size/color exchange permitted for non-personalized garments; items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags.
- Wall Art/Prints: Replacements for transit damage or print defects (include photos of packaging and item).
- Other Items: If your item isn’t listed, contact us and we’ll advise eligibility.
Shipping for exchanges: For preference-based exchanges (e.g., size/color), customers cover return shipping to us; we cover the outbound shipping for the replacement within the contiguous U.S.
🗓 Return Window (Non-Personalized Items)
- Eligible non-personalized items may be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resellable.
📩 How to Request a Replacement, Refund, or Exchange
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery if damaged/defective/incorrect, or within 30 days for eligible returns/exchanges.
- Email support@aheartfeltgift.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue (and packaging if damaged).
- We’ll confirm eligibility and provide instructions and an RMA if needed.
- Once received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval, exchange timing, or refund status.
📦 Return Shipping
- Customer preference or error (e.g., size/color/personalization entered incorrectly): customer is responsible for return shipping.
- Our error, damaged, defective, or incorrect item: we’ll provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable return shipping.
💳 Refunds
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
❌ Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase. After that, production typically begins and we may be unable to stop the process.
🚚 Delivery Delays & Lost Packages
We guarantee our processing time, but carrier delivery is outside our direct control. If a shipment appears delayed, we’ll gladly help you contact the carrier and track your package. Orders lost in transit or delayed beyond 30 days (U.S.) after shipment and unlocatable by the carrier qualify for a replacement or refund.
🎁 Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, we may issue store credit for the value of your return once the item is received and approved.
