Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with A Heartfelt Gift. Below you’ll find details about processing times, shipping methods, tracking, delivery estimates, and free shipping.

1. Order Processing Times

  • Personalized / Made-to-Order Items: Typically ship in 2–5 business days after proofing/confirmation (production times may vary by item).
  • Non-Personalized Items: Typically ship in 1–3 business days.
  • Business days exclude weekends and holidays. During peak seasons or promotions, processing may take longer.

2. Free Shipping & Rates

  • Free Standard Shipping on orders over $60.00 (subtotal after discounts, before taxes) to the contiguous U.S.
  • Items Marked “Shipping Included”: Some items include shipping in the product price. These items do not require a minimum order to qualify for standard shipping.
  • For carts with a mix of items, free shipping eligibility is calculated on the subtotal of items that do not already include shipping. If eligibility is met, the free standard rate applies to the whole shipment (exclusions may apply to oversized or special-handling items).
  • Expedited, oversized, Alaska/Hawaii/U.S. territories, and international shipping are excluded from the free standard rate unless expressly stated.

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

  • Available options and rates are shown at checkout based on destination, weight, and carrier services.
  • Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates only and not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, customs, or other factors may affect delivery.

4. Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Tracking may take up to 24–48 hours to update after label creation.

5. Address Accuracy

  • Please verify your shipping address before submitting the order. We are not responsible for deliveries to addresses provided incorrectly.
  • If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we can reship to a corrected address; additional shipping charges may apply.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

  • Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession of the package.
  • If your package is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged, contact the carrier first to file a claim and notify us at admin@aheartfeltgift.com. We’ll assist where possible.
  • Please report damage within 7 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and item.

7. Multiple Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may ship separately to speed delivery, at no additional cost to you. You’ll receive tracking for each shipment.

8. PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO

Certain carriers have limitations on deliveries to PO Boxes or military addresses. If a selected service can’t deliver to your address type, we’ll contact you to arrange an alternative.

9. International Shipping

  • International options (if offered) will appear at checkout. Transit times vary by destination and carrier.
  • Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees: Recipients are responsible for any customs duties, VAT/GST, and import fees charged by the destination country.
  • We cannot control customs processing times; delays are possible.

10. Pre-Orders & Backorders

Estimated ship dates for pre-order/backordered items will be shown on the product page when available. We will ship as soon as inventory is available.

11. Order Changes & Cancellations

To modify or cancel an order, contact us immediately at admin@aheartfeltgift.com. Once an order enters production or ships, changes may not be possible.
